Direction: Golfers beware! The scenery, beautiful shrubs and flowers and magnificent trees surrounding the fairways of Bhumibol Dam Golf Club are so beautiful they may well distract you from your game. Locates around three hours away Chiang Mai by car, the 18-hole, 22-year-old golf courses one of Asia’s finest.
The club’s name reflects the fact that it lies on the lower slop of the Bhumibol dam (name after His Majesty King Bhumibol). Although lacking in water hazards, players are faced with a variety of other shots - across slopes, up and down bunkers, elevated tees, valley shaped fairways - which make the course a pleasure to play on. Chalet style accommodation is available nearby.

Situated only fifteen minutes drive away from Chiangmai, the 27-hole courses' fairways are lined with trees which offer the golfer welcome shade, while its greens are very well; looked after and offer fantastic play all year 'round. Although opened as an 18-hole in 1975, nine more holes were added later on what used to be the Club's horse riding track.
The club also has a swimming pool, a shooting range and another horse track and tennis courts, making it one of the most family orientated and historic northern Thai golf courses.

Direction: Roughly twenty minutes from Chiang Rai, the 1hole Santiburi Country Club spills out over the fields and low hills of Bang-Bor. The course designer, Robert Trent Jones, has gone to a great deal of effort to create a water friendly course with plenty of bunkers, sloping lies and good dog leg holes.
None is more difficult than the course’s par-5 18th where not only do players have to negotiate around a water hazard on the side of the green from the tee shot, but also on the right of the green on the approach shot. There is also hotel accommodation on site.

Direction: The 18-hole Waterford Valley course lies approximately forty minutes from the city of Chiang Rai in one of Thailand’s most attractive and in the winter - coolest areas. The beautiful mountains of the North provide a pleasant distraction to a day on the fairways, which themselves are a sight for eyes-surrounded by trees, shrubs and bushes.Numerous hazards adorn the surrounding and the course is fringed by pleasant housing projects that fail to impose on the beautiful surroundings.
